• November Update

  • The end of the season is now upon us, however here's an update on all that continues to go on with details of the season AGM and more.

    2015 Season AGM

We are now nearing the end of the year and the club AGM will be on 23rd January 2016.
We need to recruit 4 new committee members as Dan resigned earlier in the year and Colin, Dean and Simon will be standing down from the committee at the AGM.
All 4 have done sterling work for the club during their time on the committee.
The work we do in the committee shapes the club which we all race in, and we are keen to find enthusiastic members who also want to help and influence the way we drive this club forward.
If you feel you would like to help us or even just more info on what we do then don't be shy, please email me on ianr@blmra.co.uk.
    No experience needed. Just enthusiasm.

    Promotional Events

As a club, we get asked occasionally to go to promo events. These could be radio interviews, TV shows, or manning a promotional stand at a show, like at Billingshurst. Sometimes, like the One Show earlier this year, they give us very little notice.

We are keen to ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to participate in such events and we would therefore like to compile a list of members interested in going on these promos.

Being on the list is not a guarantee of being asked, and although most promos involving mowers ask for group 4, I hope nevertheless members in other groups will also put their names forward.

If you would like your name to be considered, please email the committee@blmra.co.uk

This is open to all members.

    2016 12 Hour Date

The date has now been confirmed for the 6th Aug 2016. Only 38 weeks to get your mower ready!
    Grasscutters Ball
Planning is fully underway for the upcoming Grasscutters ball, if you are still yet to purchase a ticket they can be bought from here. We look forward to seeing you all and presenting the 2015 Championship trophies.
