HiJust a little on the Silverstone meeting. Whilst we will make every effort to contact those entering we ask that if you know somebody that does not have access to a computer that you pass the following information onto them.
Event Notes
Strictly no dogs.
Effective mudflaps must be fitted to all machines
Entry
Please make sure that you enter the circuit using Gate 6. I am told that this is south of circuit and is passed when you travel from Silverstone village.
You will need to use your 2011 membership cards as passes to gain access into Silverstone. Please note this simply gets you into our race field. It does not give you access into the Silverstone Classic event. Security will check that you have your membership cards as you enter. No membership card no entry !
If you have not collected your membership card yet please let Colin Clegg know and he will post one to you.
He can be contacted by emailing colinc@blmra.co.uk or calling 07766 454142.

BLMRA 2011 12 Hour - 22/04/2011
The BLMRA can confirm that they have been offered a field north of Pulborough on the A29 in West Sussex. However for this year only there is a change to the published date The 12 Hour Lawn Mower Race will not take place on the 23rd and 24th of July but will now take place on the 24th and 25th September. The reason for the date change is that the field becomes available to us in September and there is a desire from the membership to have the 12 Hour race. After 3 years of disappointments and struggles against the weather and searching for a field we hope you will fully support the event.
There is a lot of hard work to come in the next few months and we hope that we can rely on your help to make this race a success.
We are also intending on putting on a replacement event for the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of July more details to follow.
The location for The World Championships will also be announced shortly.
Please do bear with us as we make final arrangements.
